![]() LCD Studio - Only designed to work with parallel-connected displays, or at least that's all it has drivers for. But I knew that some software is required to display different things. Great, it starts up, and shows a bitmap of the company's logo! And that's it. ![]() Got the display, installed drivers (almost failed right then and there), and started it up. Starting a new build, I decided to add an LCD for all the obvious reasons: bling (natch), plus the fact that they can be useful at a glance. This is an AHK program/script (I prefer to call it a program) intended to control a case LCD display, such as might be mounted in a 5.25" drive bay. I have used it off and on for several years, but this is the first project of any real useful merit. Also, a big hats-off to the developers of AHK. Each had posted threads with their respective topics, and the code therein was adapted to this specific purpose. It is their work, skill and programming knowledge in general which allowed the project to take shape. ![]() Zaelia - For the winsock/UDP routine, making communication with Speedfan possible (with xAP). First, 90% of the credit for this project must go to 2 members of the AHK community:Īobrien - For the RS232/COM port routine, without which the project would not have been possible. ![]()
